Though the dessert truck has since closed, Lori Lynn’s Cookies and Cream has taken on a new life as an informative baking blog. Meet Our Founder & CEO – Lori Morrissey
A Passion for Baking, A Commitment to Teaching.
For Lori Morrissey, baking is more than just mixing ingredients it’s about creating moments, sharing joy, and bringing people together through something as simple as a cookie.
Lori’s love for baking started early, in her grandparents’ kitchen, where she first learned the magic of homemade cookies. Encouraged by her grandfather’s prediction that she would one day sell her own baked goods, she launched True Mountain Bakery in 2016, a local cookie delivery service that quickly became a favorite. She ran the business successfully until 2019, providing fresh baked cookies to a loyal customer base.
In 2021, Lori took her passion on the road by founding Lori Lynn’s, a mobile dessert truck specializing in made to order ice cream sandwiches, cupcakes, and celebration cakes. Her commitment to quality ingredients, handcrafted treats, and creative flavors made the truck a popular destination in Tri Lakes, Colorado.
Beyond baking, Lori always wanted to share her experience and help others master the art of baking. She loved teaching friends, family, and customers the techniques behind perfect cookies and cakes. Lori is dedicated to making baking accessible, enjoyable, and stress free for everyone. Whether she’s teaching the science behind perfect cookies or sharing family recipes, she believes that baking is a skill meant to be shared.
